Webinar

The Climate Connection: How a lack of housing affordability is driving climate change

FEATURING
Clark Anderson, Executive Director, Community Builders

DATE
This webinar aired on Friday, April 26, 2019.

DETAILS
Many communities today are tackling climate change and housing affordability as separate issues. But increasingly, the barriers that keep us from growing greener are the same ones that are driving the affordability crisis.

With a nod to Earth Day, this webinar takes a look at the connections between the environment and how we grow, focusing on the relationship between housing affordability and climate change. Community Builders’ Executive Director, Clark Anderson, will provide a primer on why the lack of affordable housing is increasing greenhouse gas emissions and solutions to address the problem. This webinar will offer a useful frame for discussing these issues in your community.
