Research

In a changing economy, western communities are struggling with questions about growth and development.

How will changing preferences affect markets for commercial and residential real estate? What are the most important considerations for communities seeking to attract and retain businesses and a skilled workforce? How should public funds be allocated to strategically encourage desired development? And more. Our research program is built to examine these and other key issues and challenges facing the West. We do this through investigative research in a manner that captures the whole picture, highlighting what is spurring growth and success, and providing key recommendations that communities can put into action.

We work and live in the West and the primary goal of our research profile is to tell it like it is when it comes to the facts. Our research is cited by regional western media outlets and we take pride knowing that it provides a solid foundation from which communities can thrive.
